Step-by-Step Guide to Resetting the Vokera Vibe CFS / CF5 Notification
We were recently called out to a Vokera Vibe Max 30C boiler service in Grimsby, where the tenant reported that the appliance was constantly beeping during use. This was our first time diving into the menus on this specific model, and the process is admittedly quite confusing.
To save other engineers and tech-minded homeowners some time, here is a straightforward guide on how to navigate the menus and resetting Vokera Vibe CFS notification.
What Does the CFS (or CF5) Code Mean?
The CFS (which looks like CF5 on the digital display) stands for Call For Service.
Inside the boiler’s internal computer, an electronic timer counts down from the moment it is installed or last serviced. When the boiler is running hot water and you see CFS flashing on the screen, it isn’t an immediate breakdown fault code, it is simply a built-in reminder that it’s time for an annual boiler service.
How to Reset the CFS Fault Code on the Vokera Vibe
Step 1: Navigating the Installer & Service Menu
- Press and hold the Tick (✓) button for 2 seconds.
- The screen will display PAS (Password).
- Use the Central Heating plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to enter the required password:
- 18 = Installer Menu
- 53 = Service Menu (Note: The service reset is hidden inside menu 53).
- Once you have navigated to code 53, press the Hot Water plus (+) button to confirm your choice.
Step 2: Understanding the Service Parameters
Once inside the service menu, you need to select the correct parameter numbers to edit.
Parameter 706: Service Call Function
This parameter dictates how the boiler behaves when a service is due based on the timeline set in Parameter 707. There are three configuration options:
- 0 = Function disabled entirely.
- 1 = Function enabled with a hard stop. If the timer hits zero, the display shows SFS (Stop For Service), which completely locks out the heating and hot water until it is cleared.
- 2 = Function enabled with notification only. When the timer hits zero, the display flashes the CFS signal, but the boiler continues to operate normally. (Note: The CFS signal will flash for 1 minute at 10-minute intervals starting one full month before the final deadline).
Parameter 707: Service Deadline
This sets the fixed countdown period for the service call. You can select a value between 0 and 256. While the manufacturer manual doesn’t explicitly state the unit of measurement, the factory preset is 52, which indicates the timer probably counts down in weeks (52 weeks = 1 year).
Step 3: Saving Your Changes and Exiting
- After adjusting your parameters, press and hold the Tick (✓) button to confirm and save your new settings.
- If you make a mistake and need to cancel or exit without saving, press the Hot Water minus (-) button.
- To exit the main system menu completely, press and hold the Hot Water minus (-) button for 2 seconds.

I had a boiler issue, stopped working. He arrived on the same day and ensured that the boiler works while we wait for parts. Kept me updated while parts were coming and asked if the boiler is still working. Always kept the area clean and explained what was the issue. Great job! Definitely recommend.Posted on Google

Fantastic service from Guy, who travelled out to Market Rasen on a Sunday when our boiler stopped working. He was super professional, quick to sort the issue, and great value for money. With kids in the house, getting the heating and hot water back on meant everything, definitely one of those luxuries you take for granted until they’re gone. Really appreciate the effort and would highly recommend.Posted on Google

Guy came to us today which was a wet and cold Sunday afternoon as my Elderly Mother was without heating. After initial contact a time was agreed and Guy arrived on the dot.... He was very good and explained everything he was doing ensuring we understood what was happening. Guy was very clean and there was not a single bit of mess left behind. He made sure we were happy with the work and didnt leave until he was 100% sure the problem was fixed. There was no hard sell with Guy at all he explained a few options for us in the future. Would HIGHLY reccommend Guy and have saved his details for future use. 5☆☆☆☆☆Posted on Google
